The Venetian Casino in Macau, China was the first location selected for a retail shop for the Pearl AUTORE Group based in Sydney. In the newly developed Contai Strip in Macau, The Venetian was already well established and has a vast retail section along with Casino and Hotel operations.
The brief for the 170 sq.m store was for a high end jewellery shop that expressed the exclusive nature of South Sea Pearls and vision of Pearl AUTORE. The distinctive Deco references are achieved using materials such as Silk, leather, dark timber, stone, backlit Marblo Alabaster, Brass to form the glass circular units and display cases. All framed by chocolate carpet to the floor and dark metallic pearlescent paint to the dropped ceiling, the shops have a’ moderne’ tone that sets the scene for pearl gazing and exploration.
